8kg 8kg 8kg… doin my little happy dance!!!! So as it turns out I could have done a few more days in phase 2, but I was done! I really wanted my LLV back as I missed it way too much and I was ready to move on to reintroduction…. I know a few more days could have meant another kg, but when you’re done, you’re done. I wanted it to still be a positive experience without failing in a heap! So I moved on to phase 3, started back on my LLV and instantly started to feel so much better!

What is this LLV? Well my fav company dōTERRA make a 3 pack of supplements known as the Lifelong Vitality Pack & it is the bomb!!! One for your brain ? one for your heart ❤️ and one for you gut. The perfect balance of nutrients to top up your daily requirements, as well as some bonus features like antioxidants, anti inflammatories, digestive enzymes, superfoods & essential oils! I seriously struggled without them mentally and lacked energy, within my first dose I was feeling like myself again…. so next time I go on any protocol will need to include my LLV that’s a not negotiable. If you want to give them a wirl, this month (August 2018) I can help you get a set for free, just hit me up for the details or you can always buy them from my website www.mydoterra.com/Alicen be sure to click join and save for the best discount! So today was my first day in phase 4, every three days I get to introduce a new food and see how my body responds to it, today was coconut oil. So I cooked 2 eggs for breakfast in some coconut oil to see how I go…. the scales will tell me tomorrow…. it tastes good to finally cook something in fat again!

An interesting phenomenon I’d like to chat about is people’s reaction when you loose weight. I’ve been thinking a lot after a conversation with three beautiful friends today & this has been a common thread in most conversations when people loose weight I’ve noticed. One person will say something like, “you look good, have you lost weight?” “Yes 8kg so far, only 10 to go” this is when suddenly everyone starts saying things like “no way” “you can’t possibly have that to loose” “there’ll be nothing of you” and other flattering comments. To me, it’s just math… current weight – goal weight = how much left to release… when I first met most of my friends I was probably 5kg lighter than I am now, but I’ve never been know as thin or skinny… and never will be! But I wonder, why we all say these types of things, I have done myself, are we just being super polite or do we really mean them??? Or is there some other subconscious thought patterns happening? I mean, can we really say, sure 10kg to go, I can see that…. hmmm probably not! It might not be well received even if you are good friends. Anyway, just some thoughts, be keen to know what you all think….

So I am feeling really good, although I haven’t yet reached my halfway goal, I am excited that my weight now starts with a new digit. I enjoy not having to pull my stomach in all day & I can fit back into those ridiculous skinny jeans ? that i still swear the washing machine shrunk to within an inch of their life! And to be super honest 8 is one of those numbers that just sounds big… much better than 4 or 5…. hehehe I’m hoping that as I keep up my healthy eating I continue to release a few more, mostly because I don’t know if I’ll muster up the strength to do it all again. Physically it wasn’t hard, but it’s a mental game you need to be prepared for.
